SunWize Power & Battery offers and inventories a wide variety of mounting options, including side-of-pole, top-of-pole, roof-ground mounts, and skids. PV modules are attached to metal structures called mounts or racks. Mounts are available in a variety of materials including aluminum, anodized aluminum, painted or galvanized steel.
Mounts can be fastened to a pole, fixed to the ground, surface mounted to a wall, or a roof depending on the style chosen. Adjustable tilt mounts can be positioned to an appropriate angle in order to maximize seasonal production from solar radiation. Fixed position mounts cannot be adjusted. When properly installed, the mounts provide a solid, stable base for the PV array. Proper installation is even more important in high wind zones. For Large Format solar mounts, a cable bracing kit is available. The cable bracing kit provides additional support to the module rails and adjustable tilt legs.

All SunWize brand mounts consist of aircraft grade structural members in heavy gauge-mill finish aluminum, supplied with stainless steel type fasteners. Our mounts are designed to withstand wind loads up to 110 mph (with the exception of 007984, 007985 single arm mounts, and 240009 Little Mount).

SunWize also offers a companion item, our Galvanized Steel Skid, P/N 250160, which fits RGM P/N 240037, allowing Ground Mounted systems to be placed anywhere in a semi portable configuration.
