The California Center for Sustainable Energy (which administers the solar rebates for San Diego Gas and Electric) says that the residential portion of the California Solar Initiative (CSI) has experienced such demand that what was planned as a 10-step, 10-year incentive schedule, to be completed in 2016, has already sped through steps 1 to 7, with over half of step 8 already filled, in only the program’s fifth year.
